New baby smell??? is that anything like new car smell?? because if it is i would totally drive a newborn.

It is, I don't know why but babies totally come with a new baby smell. I took one for a drive last week, it was sweet.

cockatiels are my fav pets. good size, can travel with you. some of them talk, they are cuddly (contrary to popular belief)

that's my vote, but i'm a birdy freak, so, no surprise. just dont get a cockatiel if you dont have a lot of time, those things need like, 3-5 hours a day minimum interaction.

I love birds too, but I don't have a lot of time for spending with them... so maybe something else would be better....

They are way cute. You can carry them around in little pouches when they are babies.

Well I dont know what a sugar glider is but I am warning you right now DO NOT GET A COCKETIAL!!!!! I had 2 for 4 years and they were ass holes, I tried the whole time to be nice to them and they never ever responded. Finaly captain hook killed peter pan (which was the nicer one) and I had had enough, I gave him away . . . ass hole. Any way they are really loud and anoying. If your going for a bird I sugest a parakiet, they are cuddly and grow to love you lol pluse they chirp cute. Have fun!

birds crap all gross.
well, everything craps all gross.
but birds are extra gross. and I doubt a hedgehog or a super cute stripey headed animal thing would just shit in your hands uncontrollably.

I owned one=D My friend Leeann has a bunch. You can take them places with you in a little pouch, and they are little and glide around everywhere. And when they feel threatened they make the cutest little noises.

Mmm, animals aren't very good about controlling those things, but birds do have pretty gross habits when they do do that. Blech.
