Yay! It looks so fun! I would join, but I just can't convince myself out of $250 right now...I'll live vicariously through you!

i've been struggling to have it together all at once because i have no self-control, haha. the christmas money from bren's mom helped pay for it. after a period of time, you'll be able to buy the patterns, so that way you can pick and choose. i'll probably end up doing that the following year because i'm sure i'm not going to like all of them, but i've gotta join at least once!

i -wish- i'd been able to do year of lace 2008, but i only started knitting 11 days before the deadline and didn't find out about it until a couple months later. as it is, i know i'm going to be buying those patterns when they come available. (fixed the link, too)

i find it a lot more interesting than basic knitting, if also more frustrating.

While I knew there was no way I could finish all four projects in a year, I am so glad I signed up! So totally worth it. I'm sure you'll be pleased.

i'm going to buy the patterns from 2008 as soon as they're available. =D i want to make the phoenix one, but with different yarn.
