and holy crap you took it 3 times haha - that's awesome, is betty still teaching it?

ps: i have not knit/quilted/etc in like a billion years, i miss the knitting circle!

Yeah Betty is still teach it...and is as crazy as ever. I'm totally going to take it next quarter too for my last quarter here. Yeah I really miss having people to knit and chat with..but I really haven't had time for knitting lately, because these quiltling project for class suck up all my free time. We should hang out sometime and knit or something!

Thanks! I hope the applique is going to turn out well. It seems like so much applique is done on white...which I just can't stand...I'm too messy for that...lol and yellow is so cheerful1

I followed your post from one of the quilting communities (sry, don't remember which one you posted your yellow quilt in) and saw your yellow quilt in more detail. I absolutely love it and would love to make myself something like this. I have a few questions - did you strip piece it? Or did you just piece each square individually? Did you use a pattern to guide you or did you just randomly put it together? Thanks in advance, from a beginning (self teaching) quilter!
