I have Black Widow spiders all over my apartment. Some big, some small. I've killed 3 in the apartment and 5 in the garage below. The venom of a Black Widow is 15 times as toxic as a rattlesnake's venom. Great. Super. I'm so excited to be living amongst the most venomous spider in all of North America. The Warren Miller movie last night was great! I'm totally pumped for the season to begin now. Eldora, where I have my season pass, opens in 8 days. The movie featured some of the most extreme snow riding I've seen. Most of it was of skiing but they did have some snowboarding footage. This morning I had the unfortunate displeasure of witnessing a serious car crash. I was driving down a twisty little road near my house on a sheet of ice and snow from a storm we had last night. I was watching a show on The Learning Channel last night about animals and learned behaviors. It featured a Blue Heron in a little duck pond being fed with bread by some children.
