All over Shanghai, there are no free birds except for the occasional dirty sparrow. I suspect it's because they are all in cages - for sale, sitting on balconies, being walked about in their cages, etc...

I thought about it, but bird liberation is probably up there with, uh, other types of freedom acts that are serious business in the PRC. !
