It's funny how the most relaxing regular rehearsal I have is with the band that needs the most physical effort. After playing through our set, I usually get up and reel away from the kit and collapse on the floor. It's hard to no longer have the physical endurance you once had. We've lost a lot that way. But I feel better about those than the ones we tried but failed to save. Or whose deaths we could've prevented by being just a little bit more vigilant about something.

Kiwi's in the ICU at Vets In Practice now.

Awww, poor widdle wabbit! I hope he gets better really soon. I just got my Buchi-cat back from the Vets in Practice clinic in Mandaluyong (near the city hall). They're really nice people there, and Buchi is doing just fine, if somewhat bewildered from the anesthesia's effects.

That's where we had him confined. What was Buchi-cat doing there? I might even have seen him ,)

Kiwi's better now ... not 100% well, but he's able to haul himself to a sitting position and sort of eat by himself. He'll need home care for a while.

Buchi-cat was in for spaying, before she presents us with yet another litter of totally adorable kittens that will need adoption, die young, or run away when they get old enough. >_< She's fine now, back to her old trick of miaowing piteously during mealtimes in the hope of getting an extra share of the table scraps Ma insists on feeding the cats.
