We should have gone somewhere decent, like Sixty-Six or that French place beside Hogan's. It could scarcely have been more expensive.

Wongs has gone downhill so much over the past few years. I keep hearing more and more bad things. Seems like they couldn't be arsed even trying any more.

I completely agree, Wong's is bad and wrong. I was there once and left thinking that it was a complete waste of money. Did you notice the over-attentive staff that top up your wine glass every time you take a sip? Fuckers. You should have gone to Chew and Chat, they're nice, and the food is good and cheap.

I have had a similar experience there, and never been back since. Far too many decent places around Ranelagh to be bothered going there
