Hello Journal.

Chicago is warm for the first time since I got here.

It's really nice.  There are strange green things growing as well.  I am frightened, but I understand this is normal for an event called "Spring."

What strange customs these "Mid-Westerners" have.

I am now in Chicago.

It is cold here as everyone has told me.

Today it was 20.  With the windchill it was 11.

should be fun.

Well, I've got 24 hours before I leave here for Chicago.  Got to finish up finishing up here.

That's about it, really.  The rest ends mainly visually.

My mom wanted a cat that looked just like Buttons to replace him.  She was feeling very sad and apparently out of money, so I got it for her.  Now she is pleased.  It's really strange to see the cat though, as it looks like the cat that died, except smaller.  So, I wake up this morning to a call from my Mom, who was crying, and turns out justifyably so: her cat, a very awesome cat, Buttons, had died.  She horribly found what was left of him outside her condo.  Apparently coyotes have been moving into Phoenix from paradoxically ongoing construction forcing them out of their homes and the huge areas of ( Read more... )

You should all watch The Devil's Rain. It is a film from 1975, and stars William Shatner, features Ernest Borgnine as a Satanic Cult leader and has absolutely no concept of editing for pace.
