Yesterday someone swiped the front wheel off the Rover (a crappy-ish bike I ride in the rain). The wheel was not locked up, though it was bolted on. Oi, sounds like a crazy spell of bad luck! I'm sure it will turn around for you soon man.

Ps: I hear one of the wheels on the Raleigh is a little wonky. Did you true it up?

Not yet. It's generally under me too often to get fixed. ;) I'm realizing it's not as bad as I thought. Still gonna try it out this weekend.

Sounds like the southern hemisphere is treating you well!

This morning when I was biking to work, I had a woman step in front of me and freeze. Next time someone does that, I'm just going to hit them.

I had someone do that to me as I was blading home from work tonight! They were crossing the street and looked RIGHT at me. It's not like Bank is poorly lit or anything. I just kept going and my vest caught one of them.

I try to avoid collisions on the way TO work, because that means that I'm possibly late if it's bad enough to send me flying. On the way home, I'm in no rush to get anywhere, so it's less of a concern.

First you should check if the rest of your life's luck is good; you might just be in balance.

I hope that's not possible, my luck has been nothing short of excellent for most of my life. :)

the trick, my dear, is just not to leave your house.

I knock people right left and centre with that.
