Back in Ottawa! Good flight back.

I'll be heading home starting at 7 tonight! It's been fun, I can't really believe I'm heading home. Rather broke at this point. I think I'm going to go on a ramen and tree bark diet.

I stitched all of my panoramas yesterday, the following one's my favorite. I took it from the top of Mt Doom!

I flew from Christchurch to Auckland yesterday. The plan to was to take a connecting flight to Whangarei to meet up with my uncle again. However, there was an incredible rain storm over Whangarei and Kerikeri, with record rain levels in Kerikeri. I believe there was about 350 mm of rain recorded around Whangarei. Which is a lot. Four days ago I headed out towards Arthurs pass along highway 73. The first day was a mix. Great tailwind for the first 20 km. Then the wind turned around. I stopped at 70 km and camped at Springfield. It was all basically flat (technically slightly uphill the whole day ( Read more... )
