Yeah, I thought it was pretty crazy, and one more... I forgot to say this in my post, but on the 7th floor, one of my flyer's was torn up into 27 pieces. (yes i counted lol)
Should I start an Atheist club? We could discuss books like The God Delusion or something like that. There was an awesome display in the student center that I unfortunately didn't have enough time to completely look at that was about Atheism from what I could tell...
Do you think I'd have anyone actually come to the meetings if I were to start an Atheist club? That would be interesting.
I think it would be pretty cool, i mean i think atheists should be able to have a club because they're always left out, religions always have groups and things but as an atheist you don't have that opportunity, i would come to meetings if you were to start a group
I never worshiped any gods. I haven't believed in an all creating deity since I was 16. I always saw "the gods" as more of a type of energy, an energy to protect to give luck etc... I didn't really ever worship anything as a creating force. If I were to worship something as a creating force (which I don't) it would be nature. I think that qualifies as Pagan... after all the real definition of Pagan is (from Merriam-Webster Online) "one who has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods : an irreligious or hedonistic person"
I can be an Atheist and still revere and honor nature
