I love the documentary so have dragged my heels on seeing this. Good to read it's entertaining.

Yeah, it really is just a nice movie, not amazing but not bad and sometimes you just need a happy story.

I should watch it and let you know my thoughts.
I didn't grow up with Mr. Rogers...and honestly, I didn't know a ton about him besides the line "Won't you be my neighbour" until I watched the documentary a couple years ago.

Just curious, what made you watch the documentary?

I went with Trav when we were dating...he grew up with him, and loved him growing up.

That makes sense, seemed an odd thing to watch if you didn't have any connection. I wasn't a hardcore Rogers fan, I was more of a Henson/Sesame Street girl, but the documentary made me really appreciate what he did and the kind of person he was.

I liked the movie a lot although I found Mr. Rogers far more interesting than Vogel.

I felt like they didn't really give us as much to like about Vogel as Rogers. I think my fondness for the actor is what made me like him LOL

Yeah, it is a solid three stars? Not great but not awful. Just...a movie.
