Today was the day for pleasant surprises. First of all, I got my finances all straightened out (and I shall be able to make ends meet this month, thankfully). Secondly, I called the temp agency and they said they have a position for me at Rhode Island School of Design, starting on Tuesday (the day after I return home!) It was so nice to see Steph last night, although despite Jesse's reassurances otherwise, the movie Garden State did depress me. Perhaps it was redeemed by the epiphany at the end, but like in real life, I remain unconvinced about the power of love (although I am starting to feel differently).
