Ohhhh my God, I so totally agree. While I enjoy the Twilight books more than Harry Potter (because my reader self is a squealing little girl), in no way should they be compared to each other. Twilight isn't even half of what Harry Potter was for many many reasons, one of which has to do with the fact that ONLY GIRLS READ TWILIGHT. It's soooo ridiculous. But I'm glad your rant was kind of in the direction of "I like both, now fuck off", instead of "OMG HARRY POTTER IS BETTER STFU HAHAHA". There is no argument, little girls just want to talk about Edward some more. He is more fan-girlable than Harry in most cases.
