*grin* Glad you liked. It felt weird splitting everyone up, but that's how it worked out: each fighting Glory in their own way.

I should have gotten him and Xander back together, but somehow it seemed right to end it on Spike's crow of victory.

Interesting idea, I hadn't thought of whether the Gem would affect Spike in that way. I'll have to see. (Don't worry, there will be consorting before this is over)

That was so exciting!!! I don't think I've read that fast in ages. The fight was brilliant - sod it, the whole chapter was just fantastic!!

I love seeing your updates appear in my email, they absolutely make my day!!!

I've promised myself on my next child free weekend that I'm going back to 'Nothing the Same" book 1 and I'm going to read them all again because I loe them that much.

*sends hugs* re-reading the whole thing! What a lovely compliment, I'm absolutely tickled pink you think it's worth that. So glad you liked the fight, I have about two pages of things that didn't happen during the fight (including this bit I was really found of where Giles goes all Ripper defending Ethan but, damn it, it just didn't work out). Oh well, I'm just pleased you liked what did work out.

Technically, there's 2 more chapters, but one's an epilogue, so I didn't count it in the numbering. It's possible (fingers crossed) I'll get both up this week.

In canon, there was the wacky fight with the Knights and the gas station, plus Buffy going catatonic, which took up 2 episodes, so that's probably what you're thinking is missing. Got a wrap-up chapter and an epilogue coming up soon.
