Rec Post of Extreme Reccishness and Incompletion
Being an eternally incomplete list of fics, fandoms and authors I am madly in love with. Because I wanted one.
With emphasis on the incompletion.

Watched for the first time just recently, although I'd already read the occasional fanfic. It didn't suspend my disbelief, but I enjoyed it and I liked it, and it appealed to my imagination. It's like the movie-equivalent of comfort-fic.
icarus_chained: Heart. Jareth/Sarah. (This takes my breath away. I adore it. Words fail me.)

Haven't watched Merlin. Wasn't going to read Merlin!fic, but -

Onfindan. Merlin/Arthur
Reciprocation - Merlin/Arthur.
ficbyzee: Woke Up New. Merlin/Arthur bodyswap, and they spend over half of it being viciously spiteful to each other - probably it's how they communicate - and somehow it just really, really works.
rageprufrock: Drastically Redefining Protocol. Death-by-laughter inducing Merlin/Arthur AU.
And while I'm reccing Merlin, you must read sarahtales' explanation/summary/whatever of it. It is hilarious.
My own impression: Arthur is a royal prat (definitely royal, definitely a prat) but gorgeous, and Merlin is his servant (he's very bad at it) and sekritly a powerful sorcerer (a crime punishiable by DEATH because King Giles Uthur is psychotic like that), and has fixed himself in my subconscious as a miniature, magical Methos without the 5000 years of experience (bearing in mind that I haven't seen Highlander either). Together they fight crime save the kingdom from evil, while the Great Slash Dragon talks cryptically about their intertwined destinies.

Supernatural: (deancastiel, spn_castiel)
I have never seen Supernatural, though I've known about it for ages - I used to read the odd fic when I happened to like the author, but it never quite clicked into fannishness. Then, predictably, I fell for it head over heels the moment I discovered it had Castiel. And Dean/Castiel. And pie.
But first, first I thought to myself: please tell me there is Good Omens crossover!fic.
And lo! There appeared before me Good Omens crossover fic. And I saw that it was very, very good and went hunting for more by the same author.
