Sorry for the drama of that last post. But it wasn't too much, was it? Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to my outing tonight with cleverduck. We're off to the Basilica to see the Minnesota Chorale's performance of Handel's Messiah! Last year I saw it in the Cathedral of St. Paul and it was excellent. Yay for culture! The next update
Hello all! Update number 2 now. By now we've working for several weeks, and the project is progressing nicely. My trench has been completely freed from the topsoil, exposing a 10 x 10 meter area of bed-rock and graves. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get to start digging into them, which is a very exciting prospect ( Read more... ) -

Hey all. so i've made it! As most of you may know, I'm working at an Archaeological site in Greece for the summer. I got in Tuesday June 12 after an overnight flight from Philadelphia, which went relatively well. I was in a row of 3 seats (in the center of the cabin), but there was only 1 other person in the row, so that was quite pleasant. ( Read more... ) -

So it is my birthday again today:) The day was pretty good, as far as Bdays go. I had lunch with my mom, and went to the Greece archaeology dig info session today and that was fun and great. Class was ok, and work (yes, I worked on my birthday) was also nice. It wasn't busy, and I we did mostly cleaning and organizational projects. Huzzah. My ( Read more... )
