New addiction!! K-Dramas/Movies!!
I have ran out of Japanese, Western, and Chinese movies and television shows to watch. I am quite picky on choices... if it's humour, it has to make me laugh and not make me cringe. If it's drama, it can't be too angsty or over-the-top crying scenes. If it's action, the plot has to be at least a bit believable. In other words, I'm extremely picky ( Read more... ) -
J-Dramas watched in 2015...
I just finished watching Mutsu ("Painless") last night. It's quite good, but then again, I'm a huge fan of Nishijima Hidetoshi (ever since I saw him in "Strawberry Nights"). Death Note 2015!!!
Just found out that Death Note will be a new tv series airing Summer 2015. I can't wait to watch it! I like the actor playing Light. He was good in the remake version of Algernon ni Hanabata o. Not sure about N or L yet. But really interested in this story line so I'm so happy to hear about this. I hope it will be subtitled. -

I'm soooo addicted to The Simpsons Tapped Out game on my phone. It's based on the cartoon The Simpsons (obviously). You rebuild the Simpsons' hometown just like SIMS. But this game is way too addicting. The characters and storylines goes hand in hand with the cartoon so the hilarious jokes are tie-ins. Japan Trip - Day 10
It is Day 10 of the trip and our last day in Japan.
At 10am my brother-in-law and I bought the airport bus tickets from the Cashier at the hotel front desk. My travel mates and I bought sandwiches and snacks at a nearby bakery at 11am and hurried back to the hotel since the airport bus comes at 12 noon.

It is Day 9 and today is the last full day in Japan.
It is so sad... :(

Japan Trip - Day 8
It is Day 8 and we are going to the zoo!
It is the first time I’m using the subway in Tokyo and also the Pasmo card. The Pasmo card is really sweet to use. Just pass it over the scanner at the gate and it automatically deducts from the total on the card. Japan Trip - Day 7
Day 7 of our Japan Trip ends at Osaka and begins in Tokyo.
We didn’t eat breakfast today as we had to buy the airport bus ticket to get to the Itami Airport. The bus arrives at the stop station (diagonal from the hotel) at 11:20am. The airport bus tickets were easy to purchase. It costs 620 yen to get to the airport. Pretty cheap for a 30 minute ( Read more... ) -

Day 6 of the Japan trip… Today is the official last full day left in Osaka.

Japan Trip - Day 5
For Day 5 of our trip, we went to the city of Nara, just 40 minutes by rail east of Osaka.
We had a quick early lunch at Café Salon, in the underground shopping district (named Namba Walk). Osaka has such excellent food - even the regular ham and egg sandwiches are amazing. They are also so well portioned for the customer. :)
