I have been going to see a counselor here and there recently. I took a personality test, and of the the flags that set off was that I have a very high egocentric personality.
This surprised me to a degree because I felt like I do things for other people all the time, and that I do things in the interest of other people a lot.
However, the counselor explained that it may be where I am at right now in my life. I just was in a bad situation and I had to take actions with only myself interest in mind, as other people were not equipped or informed to take the steps that I took.
none the less, you don't need to be upset about who you are, and if you want to change you have to do it through habit.

More so commenting on my personality rather than talking about changing myself. I find it interesting to watch people (in this case fictional) approach things differently than I would. I suppose it garners some respect from me because I can't quite understand how it works for other people.

I believe this is one of the primary difficulties in human relations. The fact that we cannot accurately understand how things work for other people. People try to understand others, but they do so only through the filter of their own mind.
Fred did. They are quite good yeah, I listen to them alot at work. Also, I'm rarely around my computer when normal people are so I don't get many chances to chat at you these days.
