Spending time with my friends this last weekend has been very beneficial for me. Despite having to work on Saturday and Sunday I was able to get out Friday night and meet up with some people after work. I dislike relying on others for support. Things aren't going very well for me lately.

That is all.

I think I have really lost contact with my friends. I'm sure it's a side effect of working a late shift, but I can't help but feel very disconnected from everyone.

So we use disinfectant at my work. Lots and lots of disinfectant. Everything is cleaned on a daily basis with industrial grade stuff and trust me there are lots of things to be cleaned in a microbiology lab. As of monday I can officially say that I am an employed scientist at Cryolife Inc. (NYSE: CRY). My job consists of testing human heart and vein tissue samples for microbial infection. Of course I'm still training in the methods of doing this and they've said it will take about two years before I am able to do everything in the department. For ( Read more... )

I've got an interview with Cryolife tomorrow at 11:30 for a microbiology tech job. The company does research on human tissues (mostly heart and value tissue) for storage and transplant procedures.
