I was recently going back and reading some old posts and I came across one that Rachel had written about unpopular opinions. Some I disagreed with, but others I thought were quite true and I decided to post what I considered to be some universal truths. Now, I'm pretty sure I can say with confidence that you just proved that you're a better human being than Ty. That was the point of it, right? Because that's totally what I got from this. :p

I was being completely facetious, not to worry. Besides, we all know one doesn't need words to prove themselves better than Ty. ;P

It might be interesting to sit around a table with everyone and try to come up with "Universal Truths." Perhaps the fact that this would neccesitate copious quantities of liquor is swaying me on this though. I believe that many of Ty's truths are akin to smoked glass. The concepts are fairly solid and just need wee bit of polish or rewording to really let it shine through. Failing Universal truths, mere words to live by are an excellent thing to come up with. After we write the list we could then sign our names to it like a contract in our own blood and burn in a sacred flame under the full moon in order to bind our souls to them for all eternity or be damned.... Perhaps a bit too far ( ... )

More universal truths. Bitter yes, but prove them wrong.
18. Evil always wins. It is not limited by the same things good is, and therefore can always come out ahead.
19. The quickest way to be miserable? Be a "good guy".

and as for #3 Love is blind. I disagree. You just end up with someone you like more than the others and whom you simply find less annoying.
