I ended up watching Alone in the Dark on Saturday only because it got a 1% rating on rottentomatoes.com and I wanted to see how truely hideous it was; I was, therefore, not dissapointed. Assault on Precinct 13 is a re-make of an old John Carpenter movie, which has stopped me from renting it. And I have to disagree with your rating of The Life Aquatic. I loved the fake under-water scenes, but it all seemed a re-hash of The Royal Tennenbaums (which I'm sure I've spelled wrong), just with more Bill Murray, whom I cannot stand anyway. The story was cute, but sad. And now I want to watch White Noise, just to see how bad it is. I love B movies and horrible supposed-to-be-A movies. This is why I watched Darkness Falls, which was also bad, and Attack of the Clones, which sucked ass.
This is a little longer than I expected... Hmmm... Jobs always suck when they don't meet expectations. And, I'm glad you are happy. That is all.

So, yeah, Assault on Precint 13 is -very- different from the original Carpenter film, but very good and yes, Alone in the Dark is arguably one of the worst films ever made (if you want my #1 worst, see "Birth"). However, I think the detail that diferentiates our view on Life Aquatic is that I like Bill Murray and you do not.

The probably with Uwe Boll is that he keeps getting good movies and turning them to shit. He's ruining Bloodrayne next and then...this one really hurts..he's getting "Hunter: The Reckoning"! He's going to ruine the GAME I LOVE!! That FUCKER!!
