* Star is one of my all-time favorite characters. I barely have to do anything to write her. Somehow, she's there complete with sarcasm, strength, and vulnerability all rolled into one.
* This is a tough one, because there really is no one I ship for Star. In your story (Yakko's World) I totally ship her with Mary and Frank, but in mine, I just can't see her with anyone long-term for a variety of reasons.
* Lou. Even though Star obviously would prefer this were romantic. They are best friends with a bond that goes really deep.
* She very often lets her negative emotions rule her. Jealousy being one of the primary ones. Lou may have been clueless, but Star was also allowing her jealousy to turn it into something more than it should have been.
* Star is going to have to make a decision in the future that is the right thing to do, but the worst thing for her.
* What do you do with a shy sim in a house full of outgoing finger gunning partiers? It's been interesting developing Oz's personality as he struggles to survive amidst all the chaos and noise of his family

* There's a cover song by Johnny Cash that really informed the way I wrote Ian (yes, I know the song is actually about heroin addiction, but I think the emotion fit). He's a complicated and conflicted character. For a while I considered turning him into a villain, but in the end, that wasn't fair to him. He may have resented the things that came easily to his siblings and cousins, but he wouldn't truly wish them harm.
* I think Ian's found his center and his happiness with Mary, but there are echoes of him that found the same thing elsewhere. So, I also ship Ian with Elaine and with Angora (did I get her name right? I'm so bad...)
* Opie. Period, end of story. They needed/need each other in ways that lovers or closer family would never have fulfilled.
* Ian had some really shitty things happen to him, but other than the actual death, he pretty much made his own bed.
* He will soon realize what his immortality means when it comes to the rest of his family.
* I could spend forever just taking and looking at pictures of Miranda. She actually looks just like her mother (from what I can tell) but there's something about her that makes her expressions all that much MORE.
* DEAN. By far, I can't picture the two of them without each other. At the same time, I do ship her a little with Cecil. I think she came the closest out of anyone to piercing that stiff, proper shell he wears like armor.
* Farnsworth and Dwight. Both of them could have easily turned into lovers, but even when they left the BC, Miranda wasn't about to let them go. In their own ways, the two of them really clicked with her.
* Miranda can be very tricky to write. It's tough finding a balance between the wacky speech patterns and having her not come off as too much of a cartoon. If I'd done an heir poll, I'm sure she would have won and that would have been AWFUL. :)
* There will be an unexpected but not unpleasant surprise in Miranda's future. There will also be a glimpse at what might have been. There, you got a twofer.
* I feel a little guilty about what I'm doing to Ava since she's such a sweetheart of a character. I love how much of a blend of Dean and Miranda she is. I also love that I can do a self-esteem story with her since she does look kind of awkward.
* Not gonna say. Let's just say there is someone I ship hard with this character, but they haven't appeared in the story yet. :)
* Ash. Because they are twins and because of what the witches did to them, Ash and Ava are as close as any two people can possibly be. They are bound together on many levels.
* My unpopular opinion is probably that as a storyteller, I love where I can go with Ava and her self-esteem issues. It's not exactly fair to her as a character, but it's going to be interesting. I hope.
* Ava will hit rock bottom before she can find herself and get beyond the curse/blessing.
