Bonsai

Who sent me a tree in the mail? No, seriously, who did it? I am quite curious. It's not every day you open the door and discover a package containing a bonsai and NO RECEIPT. I am very grateful, I love plants, so thank you, Unknown Benefactor. Also, does anyone have any tips on caring for bonsai?

You might try Googling caring for bonsai. They require a bit more tending than just watering them, if you want them to look cool. :)

Yeah, I know that much. XD Well, mostly. I know you're supposed to cut certain branches to help it grow. I'm not going to cut anything for another few days, until I'm fully recovered and certain my mind is working properly. The soil is still moist, so I don't think it needs a drink yet, but it should tomorrow. Some of the leaves are withering, but the packet told me to expect that, so I'm not concerned.

Hahaha, that's the craziest surprise present ever that turned out not to be gross. I did bonsai from 6th grade through 12th and used to collect them, so plz take that into consideration when I say ( ... )

Thanks for the tips! I'll bookmark this and refer to it in the future. The tree is actually growing a bit now, some new leaves are replacing old ones.
