After living in a desert for the greater part of 5 years I thought I new something of heat. This week life has told me "Haha! Fuck you!". Welcome To Texas
Drove 9.5 hours yesterday to arrive in Amarillo, Tx. It's been a mixed bag of surprises. Maybe it's because it is so close to the border, but I was expecting the accent in the panhandle to be so thick you could chew it and see cowboy hats and trucks everywhere. Exam
The test was hard, but I know I am within a good margin of passing it. Cannot definitively say I will pass because of how the test is set up. The security was even more insane than the email on security precautions indicated. Biometric scanning going into and out of the testing room for any reason, had to empty all pockets, finger print in/out, ( Read more... ) -

Today is the last day before my big test. I feel ready, minus a few details I will be refreshing on later today. I'm so done with the studying. Being out in Buckeye and dealing with the relative isolation has forced me to look into myself a lot since November. Overall, I feel this has been a great thing for me to do. Nearly There, Medicare, WHO, Fear
Graduating in 1 month and 1 day. My clinical is going great, but it's been really draining each day too. It feels like...home, or a home. I used to work there as an aide 3 years ago, and it remains the best place I've ever worked. Just a pity it's in farmington, NM. This pretty much sums up the town (I pass this almost every day):

Another Update from Southwest
packing a cowskull is an ART my friends, and one I completely fail at. I am however proficient in wrapping the hell out of something with bubble wrap until it becomes an amorphous blob and that is exactly what I did.
