The Introspection of Freshman Level Writing Courses
I don't mention it often enough, but one on the largest portions of my job is actually teaching. Not teaching classes, although as a professor I could teach a low-level class if I wanted to, but rather doing information literacy library presentations for existing classes. The Weather Kismet of Oxfordia
Well, the weather has assumed a form that is more typical of January in Mississippi. There was a high of about 45° today which represents a 40° temperature increase from Monday; I don't know how buildings and roads haven't crumbled to dust after withstanding at barometric pressure and temperature change like that.

Poster Child
I joined a comic book reading club at the University about three years ago. I think everything about it before, but my idea was to broaden my horizons and read something in a phone that I wasn't really familiar with and wasn't always comfortable with. Also I probably intended to use it to meet girls.

The First Day Back: A Study In Slight Bummers
The first day back at work after a long break is always a bit of a bummer. When you return coincides with intersession, in which 90% of the faculty, staff, and students do not show up for classes...the bummer factor is increased by 10.

If I had known what was in store for me today, I wouldn't have stopped at Effingham but rather continued to drive until my knuckles bled in my tires deflated.
