Thank you, i am lucky that i have such great friends who share my stupidity for historical violence and i do love the look on their faces when they get there new toy.
Even if it does take me an age to get the damn things made!

Did you go to last months Ara? I wussed out as i really needed to be anti social and thus save all my energy to go and play in Isengard.
That and the fact that i had been to Lash and the Wendy House that month as well!

Talking of stupidity and historical violence... bangstick papers went in a couple of days after we got back from the NA ball (19 Jan). I'm going to ring our friendly local Firearms Officer this week and let him know as a courtesy, so that we can start talking about when his inspection will happen. We hope to have the licences in about five to six weeks from now and trust me, soon as they arrive we're off to Henry Krank to go pick up our new rifle and pistol. A chance of practice time at Isengard would be fantastic and of course that means new toys for you and esdi_leanne to have a blast with too...

Fingers tightly crossed that it all happens sooooooooooon. I want my pistol! *poutttttttttt*

Ooooh! I am agog - and would love to see them in action (though maybe not the axe bearing down on me.)

I need to get out and see more armour close up, I was squeeing like a loon at the armoury in Krakow, I'd forgotten how much I love that sort of thing.

Yes the recieving end view of the axe is not so good.

Best place in the north is the Royal Armouries at Leeds you need a full day to even attempt to see it all.
That dosen't include any of the displays going on, and if you go during the week the library is open and if you book in advance well then you can get to see aladins Cave!

That would be very cool! Apart from anything else I need to research and study armour and weaponry, since the next graphic novel I'm (hoping) to do will involve proper drawings of same.

Photo ref of people hacking at each other would come in handy and all!
