Thank you very much, didn't realize that you had done metal working previously.
What did you get up to?
I also have the odd "open days" at Isengard where friends can come and have a play, you would be more than welcome.
Can't guarantee you will make anything usefull but you will get mucky and have a laugh.

Nice buckler and we'll be sure to think of you in future for bombproof woodwork - we even have explosives here to test it for you if you want *smiles sweetly and innocently and flutters eyelashes*

Ah explosive testing of furniture, could be fun, as long a s we dont let the Goblin King anywhere near them we will be safe!
I also intend to make some other items of "furniture" that you may be interested in!

Yesssssss we do need to have a chat.

We had ideas along those lines after our weekend away. We want to design and build an item with a nice range of uses and I suspect that the combined devious imaginations of an Ork and a Pig (burgi's army nickname) could come in very handy indeed... Are the two of you around on Thursday in Leeds? We already need to have a chat to compare diaries and have some bangstick playtime at yours *grin*

Got to admit I find myself staring intently at the photos of the buckler, I've been trying to paint pictures of armour recently and it's doing my head in. Would you mind if I took copies of these photos to store in my "armour reference" file?

Gorgeous object. Stares some more.

Hmm painting pictures of armour that must be difficult.
Feel free to grab any images that may be of use to you.
The 2 good quality ones where taken by my friend infact he did a whole load of them so if you need more i can send you copies, or you can allways pop over sometime and take some pictures for yourself.

Thankyou. It would be great to pop over and snap some close ups too, I worry about painting convincing armour - the more ref the better!
