Yay! Someone to flail with over these two! :D

I stupidly devoured the fics without saving them, but I am compiling a list. I was going to tell you to start with lit_chick08 on AO3, but I see you already found her stories! :) "Five Times Arya Stark Shared a Bed with Gendry" is probably my favorite Arya/Gendry fic so far.

This GoT kink meme also has some good stuff. "The Edge of All that You Know" is so far my favorite from that batch, but I don't think it's linked properly the master list.

Ooh thank you! Read through a few at AO3 and they were good but yes the Five Times one was my favorite! I'll come back if I find any other great ones and pass on the link! ;)

I have been buying this series of books for... I don't know how many years. I found and read the first book when it was still only in hardcover. Whenever I have a bit of money, I look for the next in paperback. I just purchased book 4.
Amazing series. I just pushed book 1 onto Brother M, and Brother D picked it up himself after having watched the first season. Season 1 is in my Netflix queue, but it will be a long wait. I wonder how many times I'll have to re-read these before I get my hands on the end of the series.
These two do sound cute (I haven't re-read in a while, don't remember specifics), but I'm always a little afraid to ship people in this series. Everyone dies. I think Brother M is going to find it traumatizing.
But I agree, recs would be nice. :)

I'm glad they have your approval! My grandma gave me the first four in the series as a gift over a year ago, and I honestly have no idea why I haven't at least started it yet. I can't wait for you to see the first season--it's brilliant!

It is often traumatizing, and I've accidentally been spoiled for quite a few of the character deaths in the later books. Oops. But maybe that's not such a bad thing? I'll at least be a little more prepared, right? I checked to make sure these two were at least alive through the published books, so that's something, at least. My theory is that these two will become the King and Queen of Westeros (and will then turn it down for adventures instead, Anastasia/Dimitri style!)! :D

I encourage you to read the books. But now I'm wishing I hadn't pushed book one onto M-- I want to re-read!-- but I am glad I finally succeeded in getting him to take the damned thing.
I'm looking forward to the show. My mom wants to watch it, too.
I had no warning about all the deaths with the first book, so it was quite a whammy for me. I'm sure I'll cry when I finally get to read them again.
Anastasia/Dmitri! How I love them still. I found myself singing 'Once Upon a December' to the baby the other day (he has chickenpox and is pathetic).
Damn, now I'm really itching to get my book back. I'll have to take a look at some of the recs above.
P.S: Peter Dinklage is one of the most awesome to ever awesome. He must kick ass in this series.

*will probably regret being awake so late... but am currently too hyper-- I've missed you!*

Oh, I definitely plan on reading the books. I'm working on The Bronze Horseman right now, which is a rather long (but easy and enjoyable) read and the first part of a series, but I'm considering putting it aside for now for this series. Hmmm ( ... )
