That is so weird that you posted this now. I literally just read about that 2 days ago. Sounds like a blast to me though I don't know how to rollerskate. LOL! Never got the hang of it. I'm fine on ice skates where I'm on one thin blade but on 4 wheels, I fall on my ass. Go figure! I'd frickin' learn to rollerskate if they had something like that here.

Of particular anthropological amusement are those skating in vampy period attire. "Top Hat Guy" makes it all happen. Although, this almost makes it like a Fred Astaire movie (replacing the spontaneous gaiety with a cheerless affectation of course).

I think the last time I went roller skating was in the early 90's. I have some recollection of Hirshman being there.

Now, Hirshman on skates - the thought alone cracks me up.
