Well here are another 100 fictitious indie band names. I think this one is the weirdest by far; there are a few sections in there that are truly obtuse. Also, in a few cases this list has the advantage of garnering input from people who are actually *in* shitty indie bands.

I sent an email to a friend about falconing (i.e. the sport involving a falcon and a large glove) and the Microsoft spell check just suggested "falconine" instead of falconing. I had to look this up. Apparently "falconine" is a zoological term that means "belonging to the phylogenetic family Falconidae." Why that word is in the spell check but not ( Read more... )
