Issues d'Internet

So, I know you can go to 192.168.0.1 in the US to get your server information, but would anyone happen to know how to do it in France?  Essentially, my woman has wireless, but she has no idea what a WEP key is, and even less idea how to find it.  I hate using her computer, not least for the weird keyboard and, y'know, the fact that it's her ( Read more... )

Well, apparently her daughter, who speaks fluent English (thank god) is coming back into town tonight or tomorrow; Mmme. Chastang said that she knows how to "do the internet" and that she has the WEP key written down somewhere. Hopefully, that's all it'll take, and I can just get it from her. One way or the other, I'll look at it tonight and see what I can find.

You can try x.x.x.254 (that's how some wireless routers identify themselves). Basically take your ip address and if it is say 192.168.0.10, you'd put 192.168.0.254 into your browser. If this doesn't get you what you need, let me know. :)

Oh, I forgot to mention that you will have to do that from a computer that's already on the network and have the password for the router.
