My parents came up on Friday, normally, that might be cause for concern, but I was optimistic because I hadn't had them come up to visit. We went to gusto on Friday (mmmm delicious puerto rican food) and spent the evening laughing talking and harassing the owner (Cuban guy, hilarious and a good sport). So, yesterday, I got just shy of $80,000.00 worth of checks for my department. Today my department got bagels as a reward and my boss gave me a big thanks and tolkd me that all the extra work I had been putting in had really been getting noticed. Real quick update, we are fully moved out of the apartment, it was cleaned well but we're gonna lose some money for them to shampoo the carpet, so we're not getting the full deposit back, but getting a healthy chunk which will be awesome.
