Had the introduction-to-school stuff today. It's kinda wild doing this at my age. But they did a good job of hooking me in the welcome stuff, and making me feel a little less like "Ack! I don't know how to do anything

Very, very cool. I'm really interested in what kind of coursework you end up doing (and, specifically here, what articles you read and what you're trying to learn from them). I don't think there are any long-time gamers who haven't, at some point, done their own amateurish game design and dreamed of doing it "for real." Kudos for living the dream, sahib.
