My first final is today. I know the phylum and most of the orders, but the classes and genus (forgot the correct plural) I'm still shaky on. Let alone the extinction dates. Well, I had a temporary job which has now finished. Classes begin tomorrow and as much as I am looking forward to going back to class I am absolutely petrified of University vs. College. I did excellent in college, especially for a single mother. But university?...

Well, seven days left till the big move and I can't believe how many things I still have to do. I probably should have gotten some of this stuff done before now, but that would be industrious. At least I have a friend up there already who will watch the kids for me on move in day (provided I manage to make it up there, myself).

If you think about it, moving is a pointless exercise. You spend weeks putting all your stuff in boxes, so that you can't get to it if you need it (which always happens the day after you boxed it up). All of that so that you can put it in a truck, get to a new place, then begin taking it out of the boxes again. And no matter how well you labeled ( Read more... )
