California and Wicked Fair
For those of you I actually got to see when I was out in California, it was wonderful to talk, spend time and see you. It reminded me of how much I love the area and especially the people. Halloween

Life is in bloom
My husband and I just harvested veggies from our garden. Yellow squash (2), swiss chard, zucchini and cucumbers(2). There are more cucumbers that can be picked tomorrow, tomatoes that are small and green, but will be calling our name in a few weeks. Also to come are red peppers and "sugar baby" watermelons which are currently the size of a gold ( Read more... ) -

Update
So for shabbat I made two challahs, one was whole wheat that sadly did not have that challah consistency (now I know why whole wheat is just not as popular as white) and the other Gluten free ( Read more... ) -
Sad news
Our dream of being a home owner has fizzled. We know that there is a several thousand dollar bill (teens) that will be peeking its head up in the next few months. With that and me NOT working for 3 months, $1,000 for health care each moth on top of the regular bills, our money is dwindling ( Read more... ) -
