I keep thinking about how the hell I'm going to get a job in BC this summer. scottage_cheese's pictures of Victoria don't help. I love Vancouver Island. I love the ocean and the rain and the fog and the fresh air that doesn't even exist here. Lisa Marie arrives today. I'm just not into our relationship.

Saw an apartment today, it was a real apartment and not in a house like all my previous residencies have been. It's $975/mo which is steep but likely worth it. Let's assume a normal price for an apt. Yoga was good, I feel tired and sleepy in a way I hadn't before. Going off for dinner with family now. Went to a Vegetarian Food Fair yesterday, drank Okra juice which was vile.

Lisa Marie was right, I don't relate to people my own age. I was waiting in line with the rest of my classmates to get into our class when I made friends with a 4th Year girl who for some reason was going to sit in on our class. I saw a flyer yesterday for 'pay what you can' yoga lessons down in the neighbourhood where I live. They're later in the week or on the weekend, and I think I'm going to go to one. Agh, I miss BC. I use public transit alot so I see alot of strangers, and back in BC the people just have this glow about them. I think it's the fresh air and the beautiful environment. Spent most of today cruising by transit. I need to get new dark blinds/pillow, and maybe a matress. I'll be OK, but it's annoying. In the area that I live in I'm now a visible minority, there is no dominate ethnic group. It does feel different, or at least it did when I became first aware of it.
