so the driver-side window fell into the door as we were driving back to the hotel after searching for some breakfast... now we're at a vw dealership in atlanta while they fix it. very cool of them to squeeze us in. of course we need to have it fixed, as the weather in the southeast is rainy this weekend ( Read more... )

trish and i are in atlanta.. at a starbucks.. sipping down the wifi. apparently t-mobile prevents the same account from logging in twice, so i had to whip the network cable out of my bag and hook our laptops together and enable internet sharing.

ah, geeks.

when we got back from the gym this morning our power was out. good thing we went to the gym!! otherwise the car would be trapped in the garage and i wouldn't have been able to go to work (how sad!)

there was a dead frog underneath my desk right in front of the window this morning. poor thing. i wonder how he ended up there! you see, i'm on the 3rd floor, and a good ways from the stairwell. i wonder if there are other holes in the building?

with crap like this, i could start to think about wearing a watch again.. great place to keep pgp keychains and ssh private keys :)
