H'okay. I've recently gotten the urge to start running again and would *love* to do another marathon. The problem? The only actual marathon in Chicago is on October 7th this year. I have a mighty need to dress up pretty-like. Does anyone know of any decent clubs in the city? And would anyone like to go out with me tomorrow or Saturday night? Alcohol will most likely be involved, but probably not overly much.

Life is still going pretty well for me. My job is still awesome, although I'm not sure if I'll be getting a ferret soon or not. (Oh noes! I'll just have to visit Armond and Moose some more!!! Nooo! I really love my job. And they love me. Friday, I went in at 7 and Enrique (one of the managers) said he was going to teach me how to do full maintenance on the birds. Full maintenance is just cleaning everything in the animal's habitat once a week. Scrubbing the bowls, usually taking the animal out and scrubbing the cages. Enrique did the same ( Read more... )

My interview at the Shedd went really well. I got there, gave my presentation (which they seemed to like a lot), then answered a bunch of questions. When I was answering questions, there was a lot of nodding and it looked like they liked my answers well enough. I fell behind in posting again. Oh wells.

I've successfully moved to Chicago. Wee! It's been a bit rocky and there were some not so good parts, but that's pretty normal for moving. Especially when it's relocating to a another state. Overall, I think it's been a much better experience for me.

I got some neat new eyeliner-y stuff the other day, so I decided to try it out. It's liquid, so it spreads really well and looks kinda like paint. Also it's turquoise. I love the color. Not so great quality pictures, but meh.
