When last we spoke to our Adventurers, Relay for Life of Pottstown Dawn was breaking, after a long night of thunderstorms and pouring rain.  And?

Today the first of our new hires begins in my department, and the only one for whose training I am solely responsible. My first guinea pig of the program I've been driving helping to build for the last 2 years.  If this goes well this program will be my Quest Legacy, and I'll be able to retire in 20 years or so with the feeling that I left ( Read more... )

I can now say without questioning that I am improving. Although I still cannot move the corner of my mouth, I would have to say that most of the muscles surrounding my eye have resumed their normal duties. This means that I can focus on print pretty well and that I can drive without copious weeping ( Read more... )

Last night I was ready to weep because it had been 14 days since the onset and I still had no improvement. Then I went upstairs and happened to look in the mirror to see - my left eye muscles moved! I can sort of squint in my left eye! That means that there is finally something moving, right? And this WILL go away, right?? RIGHT??????

The wretched paper that has been haunting my trip is now Submitted for Peer Review. So I can finally relax and enjoy the trip!
