Haven't felt like this since...
...forever? I am filled with excitement and squee and OMG. I had a phone interview yesterday with two delightful ladies for a position in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT division of my company, and I had THE BEST TIME!!! Yesterday morning I discovered that the loud noises coming from the basement were coming from one of the last of the yet-to-be-opened boxes from our move to PA. Sandy isn't so bad - yet
We are having rain, fairly heavy at times, and there is wind, sometimes...but so far, it's just a storm, guys. I'm glad that the governments of the states that may be hit are taking precautions, but it's like when it rains in SoCal - the news is full of nothing else and it's getting old ( Read more... ) -

Hey, things can get better!
I have always considered myself to be an optimist at heart, but I'll confess that for the last several months, I've had a really hard time seeing the positive side of much that has been happening.

Almost time to go
Wrapping up two weeks with my son and his wonderful family. I am so happy right now - both of my kids in the same place at the same time since Val arrived yesterday, plus Jenn, the boys and dearest baby Kira....does it get any better? Now, if I could just win us all a nice Disney cruise! Been entering every day for months, wouldn't it be great ( Read more... ) -

She is here!! She is safe and whole and resting in mommy's arms!!!! ! Hallelujah!!! Praise the Lord!!!!! -
Guardedly hopeful
I came home from work yesterday to find a certain amount of peace restored and the atmosphere less fraught...
Val and Steven are talking better, both about their relationship and in general, so perhaps I can leave with a percentage of peace.
I do think that this is the best decision, for now, but I wish it had happened with better timing! But ( Read more... )
