You should definitely go to Stratford Upon Avon! It's the birthplace of Shakespeare, and it's a beautiful village and all old fashioned and you can even see the house he was born in...and there's a Harry Potter shop there! XD
Oh~! Warwick Castle! :D I've heard of that place! I've heard the Renaissance Festival there is amazing.... mostly because it pwns the American renaissance festivals. (America never had renaissance, this confuses me.)
EEEEEE! I went to London two months ago for my birthdaaay! Have you been before? Oh my gosh, i'm soooo jealous. I could have stayed there foreeeverrr.
See if you can actually sit on one of the lions on Nelson's Column for me! I couldn't manage to actually get ON the thing! I got onto the column, but the lion eluded me! XD And then have a toastie at the pret-a-manger across the way there. It will make me feel nostalgic. :D
There's my noble attempt at getting on the lion. I eventually gave up and just hugged it's butt. *pfft pfft*
Bring a bag of bread and feed the ducks at St. James Pond near Buckingham! That was SO FUN. The ducks and geese and swans are SO SPOILED! And go to Fortnum and Mason's! And Hamley's Toys! And Molton Brown! The London Eye was neat too. And do some silly touristy things like get into the red telephone box and stuff!
Although I live in the UK, I'm quite far away from London so I'm a tourist there myself whenever I go! I highly recommend you visit Buckingham Palace, go into Hamleys Toy Store, see Piccadilly Circus, visit the Camden Town Markets, go into the Tower of London, see the waxworks in Madame Tussaud's, go out to eat in a real Pub (our food isn't bad, honest! XD), take a ride on a London Red Tour Bus, go on the London Eye, see Big Ben...try this London tourist website too for things I haven't mentioned: http://www.ukguide.org/london/attract.html
Oh, thank you very much! :D Heheh, sorry about the delay. ^^;; I've just been all around bad about replying lately.
I have to admit, I am looking forward to having afternoon tea. Just to see what it's like. :D And the pubs. XD I have a thing for English Ale like whoa.
you could do the harry potter tour! platform 9-3/4, the phonebooth entrance to the ministry of magic, etc. i can get you more details if you're interested. one of my sister's friends did her masters at lse; i'll ask if she has any ideas.
