It's probably just me, but whenever I see "Alive" as a title I flash to that movie of the same name, the one about the plane crashed Rugby team

Norbert is very new to HP fanfiction. I enjoyed this story but yeah part 2 was just a bit draggy. Given time though I think the writing will tighten up and get much better. The ideas she uses are good. Right now she has one over on HPFandom called 'Severus Snape and the Day Before Tomorrow' it's interesting and I enjoyed reading it. You might too.

Honestly I rethought this, and I'd toss part two out entirely. It really adds nothing to the story. No new info, just Snape characterization, but nothing we can't see through Harry's eyes. It's a stronger story without it.

Is it a WiP? If not, shoot me a link? I'd love to read it.

Wanted to rec one of rinsbane's fics that I enjoyed enormously, for your Off Prophet Reviews. It's Minerva/Tom, Minerva/Augusta Longbottom, Min./Dumbledore, Min/Snape and it covers McG's life from her seventh year until after the war. It's called "These Fruited Boughs" and can be found here.

Off prophet finds = the random fanfic that usually distracts me from these and made them really late. I'd just start and then get into PJ's list and read everything, or start reading all the ficfind stories or find an author and backread everything they've written and two weeksand 6 editions of the prophet later I still was no closer to being finished.
