We've taken a couple of bus trips, around the city, and find the transit good. On Monday we went to the museum, they have a great one here. We saw an hour long Maori cultural display, that included the Haka. Luggage, what luggage, who needs luggage! Someone else must've needed it more than we did.

We've arrived, and had a snooze. It feels like I've just gotten off of night shift. It's warm, overcast and humid, and there's palm trees! Yippee! Still waiting on our luggage. Heard when we landed that they were in LA and would be coming later today. Is that a euphanism for "I've got land to sell in Florida?" Will keep you posted ( Read more... )

A word to those of you planning a trip. Do not change your visa card to an areo miles card 5 days before you are leaving the country. Even though they say they will get it to you before you leave, they don't. And the old visa card is automatically cancelled in 14 days. This is how we wanted to start our travel day... not!
