so we all were away for a good portion of the summer... we were planning on starting the quilt when we got back (which is now) but over the past 2 months we only got squares from 2 people.

so we are really sorry but we are not going to do the project anymore.

So we got this idea from a fan of The Academy Is...
She made a quilt for the boys in the band and it came out amazing.
(Well she put it together but all the squares that make it up came from fans from all over the world)

We think Rooney deserves linens to keep them warm in the winter too, so a Top Secret Rooney Project is up and running!

So all of you guys have been asking us about a deadline and we have totally have one!!!

So Rooney is opening  for Kelly Clarkson June 30 - Aug. 6, and THEN they go on their headlining tour from what we were told.

to our surprise we have gotten many messages and emails saying that people think the project is a great idea but they dont know how to sew and are sorry they cant help out with it....

well...

you DO NOT need to have any sewing / embroidering / quilting / crocheing / needle&threading / knitting knowledge or skills...

 IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER...

-make sure you follow the measurment requirements (found in the first entry)

-make sure you mark off the 1/2" border with a pen/pencil (to make our lives a tad easier once the squares are sent to us)
