Snow, snow, snow

Again I find myself seeking refuge from any kind of productivity. Now that I am 20. A fifteen minute oral exam awaits me Friday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. in Seminar 7. To think that I could be asked any possible question(s) on any topic since covered, every paragraph of significance, every new thought, idea, movement, retalliation that happened from ( Read more... )

"Laughter glistening like butter painted onto warm loaves."

Kate,
That was awesome.
I got a great feeling when I read that line.
Happy days to you and yours!

We should get together some time next week and just sit and listen to Vince Guaraldi. So enchanting.

i got a tree yesterday. it was 18 dollars. is that expensive? oh well it's bigger than last years. so much bigger i had to buy another set of lights and more snowflakes. this was fun for me. Your last exam is on the 13th? right? well we will see. i haven't got my schedule yet cause they haven't put it up yet. i don't know of any big events but that doesn't mean anything . hopefully i'll have a day or two to come and get some goodies. i just finished watching the santa clause 2. it was a little weird. and it seemed like they just came up with a story at last minute or tim allen didn't want to do it so they made it short. Short stories are alright anyway. gets things done quicker. and you know how i can't stand procrastination and laziness. maybe i should buy some egg nog. i've never bought egg nog before.(you laugh at this) maybe i should get the soy version. i find myself getting cynical everytime laura talks about it. as if its better than the actual thing but only because its better for the animals. maybe this is true but who ( ... )

That is an expensive tree. While taking a drive out Harmony way, a tree lay in the middle of an old road. What did my mom do? Slammed on the brakes and wildly stuffed the tree into the trunk for my grandparents' house. My last exam was in fact today, but my research paper is due the 13th, thereby making any time previous to that date off limits to any kind of enjoyment. I think it will be good for you to "face the music" at home and make confusing comments with invented words or something. Then you can sing! We will talk about this, I assure you. ANYWAY-- do come up/over to Halifax sometime next week (I work Tuesday), if you get a break from work. We will have a smashing good time and I still have eggnog in my fridge that's ready to be savored by ol' Meagan-Poo. We can have a Christmas p-art-y back home in Truro sometime closer to the date of birth of The Christ Child. But, yes, do let me know if/when you are available for a purchase brawl.

dear kate,
my only day off is wednesday. i could come up tuesday eve or late afternoon and than stay until the following wednesday night. Tell me if this would be alright. We could go to the mall? I don't know where else to shop. You might know. Could i stay with you at your place? or is that allowed? i obviously have a lot of questions so you should probably respond right away.
OKAY.

Yes, that would be fine. I work Tuesday 6:00-9:00pm, plus I have a paper for work to write before I go to work, so I may not be the best company until after 9:00, but feel free to come up Tuesday anytime.. yes, you can stay the night in my room-- it's allowed. SLUMBER PARTY, ha. I know the bus routes to get to other purchase districts (malls) outside of the innercity, so all is well. Talk more.
