Good news!

They found endometriosis and removed it!! :-) :-) The surgery was rough (once I woke up from the anesthesia I was feeling terrible) and I feel pretty icky today...but they FOUND it!! mY BIGGEST fear was that they wouldn't find anything and we'd have no idea what was causing the pain.

OK, going back to rest. Zzz...

That's really awesome. I didn't know that you were having surgery either, and didn't realize that endometriosis wasn't a chronic disorder, so I'm really surprised and glad to hear that you're going to be well now!

It does tend to be chronic...the existing growths were removed, but if they got everything I should be pain free for a little while. It will likely grow back, but at least if I need to do the operation again I'll expect it.

General anaesthesia does have its drawbacks, yes. I vomited several times after my surgery in January. It's a small price to pay for pain relief, though! I'm very happy to hear that your surgery went as planned and that you're doing all right...please keep us posted!
