After having moderate success with my crock pot back in the states with a variety of dishes, I discovered that it is the best way I have found to cook perfect beans. When trying to cook beans with just a pot and a stove, for some reason, no matter how long I cook them or how long I soak them, they always end up still slightly crunchy. The crock ( Read more... )

This is pretty cool--my old boss at Hogar is offering to donate $250 to a charity of my choice in honor of my 2.5 years of service to the organization. YAY!!!
