Well, I'm back in Andover! This time, I'm doing s "waterfall tour" of sorts with my sweetie Viktor. I stayed in a different hiker hostel this time, Pine Ellis. Alive, and mostly well!
I'm still alive, and I'm mostly well. My latent desire to "write, damnit" has been mostly-quiet lately, but it's not *quite* dead.
It's been nice to poke around here, for a few minutes. -

Work!
Today was the first day of my New Position At Work - starting a proper salary at properly-full-time, with a raise, etc.
Exciting, and the changes with the company that are associated are also pretty exciting - with luck, this will all lower work-related stress, rather than raise it. We'll see! -
Steam Dream
I had a dream that took place at the local Steam Locomotive Museum. I think it's a sign. -
Music Thing
I just finished up "Rev 1" of a new song - tentatively titled "Drip." - About 3 1/2 hours from start to finish on this one so far - and it's 99% done in the multitrack app.
It's been a long, long time since I've really done anything worthwhile musically - it's a bit of a relief. -
Things that have been dyed pink
1: Streaks of hair of "Random Asian Chick in your apartment," as she described herself - inaccurately, I might add. Half-Asian, and not random.

Dune Dreams
So - I finished "Heretics of Dune" last night, and started ChapterHouse: Dune as well.
Then I fell asleep. Eventually, I had a dream featuring all of that crap, including a small, snake-like sandworm that talked to me.
And now I have to go re-read a bunch of stuff to sort it out in my head!
Why am I not surprised? -
Back home
