Tell your brother that most babies say "dada" before "momma" as the "Da" sound is easier to say. : )
I am really enjoying Game of Thrones and am looking forward to the next book in the series in July. I usually wait until I have several episodes of The Killing to watch in a row but am liking that too. And one of these days, I will have to catch up with the Dr Who eps on my DVR.
I want to read the books! But I am committed to War and Peace and The Almanac of the Dead this summer, both of which are a gazillion pages long, so I suspect that it will not be for a while.
The baby totally said "Dada" today. My s-in-l made your argument, but my brother is having exactly none of it. :)
My nephew called my brother Dada and his mom Anna for the longest time. Actually he would holler, "AAANNAAAAAAH!" to get her attention. I thought it was hilarious. Anna didn't think it was so funny.
I bought a ticket to the Florida show, but I had to miss it, because of my stupid cousin getting married. How dare she?
I have a ticket to the Central Park show on Labor Day weekend, though. Neon Trees! Black Cards! PANIC! You should come with me. We can hang out on the grass together. :)

We are a multi-platform convo now. :)
And Ollie totally said "Dada" today, or so my brother claims.

That reminds me of the "Buttons and Mindy" cartoons that used to be on Animaniacs, where the baby always called her mother "Nice Lady."
Bye-bye, Nice Lady, I love you!

Good to see you (and to hear that you're catching a tiny little break).
That Veronica story had me giggling for a few minutes. :)

How on earth did you break your nose?

You missed the epic ankle breaking show? That is tragic!
If I can get away around Labor Day, we should totally try to meet up! That should be an amazing show.
